The Interdisciplinary M.Ed. program in Special Education is designed for graduate students who do not seek special education licensure because they are already licensed in special education or they work in other human service areas that serve individuals with disabilities.

Students' programs are individualized to accommodate their experiences, educational background and professional aspirations. Interdisciplinary program students complete SPED 629 Field Experience-Special Projects for their Field Experience requirement.

Classes for the M.Ed./Interdisciplinary in SPED meet in the late afternoons, once a week for the Fall and Spring semester classes. Summer classes typically meet Monday through Friday for a 3-6 week term.
