The Secondary B.Ed. program qualifies graduates to teach in grades 7-12. Students are admitted to the B.Ed. program after completing the majority of their academic major.
Teacher candidates complete a minimum of 124 credit hours:
- UHM General Education Core for education majors or an AA degree
- A major in a teaching field
- Foundations and methods courses in secondary education
- Student teaching
