We provide online advising by appointment, using Skype and Elluminate.

Advising via Skype

Skype is a program that allows you to make voice & video calls and do instant messaging, all from your computer over the internet. For calls made from computer to computer, it's free.

You can also use Skype to make inexpensive calls from your computer to any land or cell phone--perfect for long distance or international calls. Skype's instant messaging capability is similar to other popular chat programs, so it's a breeze to use. All you need to do is download Skype at the Skype website and add one of our advisors as a contact.

Advising via Elluminate Virtual Office

Elluminate is a web-based program allowing for collaboration with text, audio and video. Elluminate also offers the capabilities to share documents or a common workspace. While sharing your documents you can talk and ask questions of your advisor. All you need to use this program is Java, a program that is already installed in most computers, and a microphone, which is also installed on most current laptops.

* There may be a moderator to provide technical assistance during the session.
